Beyond his corporate achievements, Dozie also served in several key national roles, including as a director at the Central Bank of Nigeria, President of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, and Chairman of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group. Through these positions, he contributed immensely to national policy formulation, private sector growth, and youth empowerment.
President Tinubu described Dozie as
“a rare breed business leader whose wisdom, humility, and pioneering efforts laid a foundation upon which many continue to build,”
adding that his passing represents a significant loss to Nigeria and the private sector.
He extended heartfelt condolences to Chief Dozie’s wife, children, and the entire family, praying for the peaceful repose of his soul.
The President also called on the Nigerian private sector to honour Dozie’s enduring legacy by upholding the values he stood for—integrity, innovation, and nation-building.
