A tragic incident has occurred in Nasarawa State, as a police constable, Dogara Akolo-Moses, attached to the Mada Station Division, has reportedly died by suicide.
According to reports from Daily Trust, the officer was seen performing his routine duties in Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area on the day of the incident. However, he later retreated into a private room, where he allegedly shot himself.
The sound of the gunshot alerted his fellow officers on duty, who rushed to the scene, only to find him lying in a pool of blood, with his firearm beside him.

“Colleagues of the deceased who were outside the apartment heard the gunshot, prompting them to rush inside, where they found the officer lying on the floor with his gun beside him,” a source revealed.
